The Macross government that worried about these new crises, established the special duties unit that was presumed to use AVF as it's main asset.
The name of that unit is also "VF-X Ravins".

Stonewell Bellcom VF-1X-Plus Valkyrie
In the VF-X2 world, the VF-1X+ is already an old type of airframe, whose performance as a total is low.  Because it's a small sized craft, it's turning ability and stability are good.  Even though it is effective in tight turns, as its flexibility and the amount of sub-weapon that it can be loaded with are limited, the VF-1X+ has the weakness of having a pretty low strength.  In the case of being for the game, it may have been expected that it wouldn't be possible to select the VF-1X+.  Conversely, if you come to be able to defeat the enemy by using this VF, than you're skill is also certain to have progressed considerably.  The VF-1X+ is recommended for practising.

Fighter Form
Even though it is effective in tight turns, it is easily influenced by gravity.  The VF-1X+ has a part where the habit of a slow lowest speed is strong.  The VF-1X+ can be called the "expert's choice" airframe, who's interior is deep even though it is easy to handle.

GERWALK Form
Even though it is good at attacking enemies because it's turning is fast, it isn't suitable for avoiding enemy missiles as its movement is slow.  Moreover, because inertia is strong, you can ride with that movement.

Battroid Form
This mode also has slow movement and fast turning.  Even though it has excellent ease-of-use, because fighting in Battroid form wasn't required, enemy attacks are not easily avoided and it's tough because the VF-1X+'s armour is thin.

VF-1X-Plus Super Valkyrie
In order to compensate for the low-output weakness of the VF-1, a Super Pack was developed as an option when the VF-1 is used in space.  Airframes equipped with it are named the Super Valkyrie.  Installed on the back are booster thrusters and micro-missile pods, on the legs are coolant and fuel tanks, and on the arms are missile armour blocks.  However, in this state, the VF-1 only just equals the VF-11's performance, and the advantages of its use are few.

Fighter Form
When compared to the VF-1, the idiosyncrasies are gone, and it becomes an easy-to-use, average airframe.  Conversely, it's fault is that it features nothing in particular.  As it is able to maintain the lowest speed, it easily avoids enemy attacks.

GERWALK Form
It is easy to use and average in general.  Moreover, because inertia is weakened, the VF-1 comes to be able to move energetically.

Battroid Form
Even though this form is also average in general, take care as it's turning performance has fallen a little bit.  In missions with intense fighting, you had better not select the battroid form.

VF-1 Armoured Valkyrie
The VF-1 that is equipped with armour equipment (the GBP-1S Protect Weapon System).  It is a system that strengthens the VF-1's armour and armament when in the Battroid form.  However, in this state, it is not possible to transform the VF-1 to fighter or GERWALK forms.
The armoured missile sub-weapon automatically pursues enemies, and it can rapid-fire up to 60 missiles when the missile button is pressed.  After firing, it will re-load within a fixed amount of time.

Basically, because it's in the battroid form its mobility is low, and the feeling that it's slow cannot be wiped away because it's weight has also increased.  However, its turning characteristics and enemy-search abilities are high, and as it's weapons are powerful, it very easily annihilates enemies.  It is possible to select the Armoured Valkyrie from Mission 3, by playing by data after the game has been completed.
